Summit Veterinary Hospital and Kennels is located on 5 acres in the Santa Cruz Mountains, 2 miles off of HWY 17 between Scotts Valley and Los Gatos.
Our hospital offers complete Medical, Dental, and Surgical services as well as Radiology, Ultrasound, and Labratory services. We also offer preventative care including special programs for puppies and kittens, annual vaccinations, microchiping, and nutrition.
Our kennel offers large, private runs for dogs and a separate, quiet room for cats. We require all of our "guests" to be current on their vaccinations. Dogs all receive a complimentary bath before they go home. Be sure to make your boarding reservations early, as we do tend to fill quickly for weekends and holidays.

Dr. Hilary Wheeler and Dr. Kirsten Krick share a common focus on wellness and disease prevention, to ensure a long, healthy, happy life for both you and your pet. We recognize the value of the human-animal bond, and our doctors and staff are committed to helping strengthen and maintain healthy relationships between people and animals. Our hospital boasts digital radiography, a modern surgical suite, a patient isolation/critical care room, and a large in-patient treatment room. Both of our doctors are also certified veterinary acupuncturists, allowing us to offer diverse treatment options based on the individual patient's needs. Herbal and dietary consultations are also available upon request. Our three large exam rooms are designed to allow for freedom of movement and a stress-free environment for our patients and their human companions. We have a dedicated comfort room with a private patio and seating area for non-traditional veterinary appointments, including acupuncture. We welcome drop in visits for a tour and a cup of coffee (or tea!), and we will shower your pet with healthy treats to make the visit as comfortable and pleasant as possible.
