We operate a cage-free sanctuary for special needs cats: FIV+, feline leukemia (FeLV)+, and displaced ferals. We take in adoptable cats and kittens, especially those at risk. We do local adoptions, and transport kittens to Helen Wooward Animal Center in San Diego once a month. We provide information, transportation, and financial assistance for vet care, to keep cats in their homes, or living well in feral colonies.

I have a group of 5 people feeding over 200 cats in this apartment community, and they need to be spayed/neutered and shots before being adopted. Its my goal to get as many adopted as possible before the apartments go condo. These cats mostly live outdoors until we get them friendly enough to socialize. They are all great cats, some are just more frightened of humans than others.

Rescue Organizations
3661 N. Campbell Ave. #220
Tucson, AZ 85719
SAFE is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization committed to developing a comprehensive, community-based resolution to the euthanasia of adoptable companion animals. Understanding the euthanasia problem is the first step toward obtaining this goal. The traditional response of "spay or neuter your pet" fails to address the realities of how animals end up in shelters in the first place. SAFE is committed to working with the public and shelters to discover the real causes of companion animal euthanasia and to developing effective programs that can be implemented now to help reduce the percentage of adoptable animals destroyed each year. We're committed to saving as many homeless pets as we can, and we need your help. SAFE works hand in hand with local and nearby animal shelters.
