Noah's Ark Pet Adoptions is a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers. We do not have a shelter facility - instead, adoptable dogs and cats live in the homes of volunteer "fosters," until they are adopted. Noah's Ark specializes in finding lifelong, loving homes for hundreds of family-friendly, healthy dogs and cats who were previously stray, abandoned, or relinquished by their former owners. Because of our "in-home" fostering program, our dogs and cats thrive in a loving family environment and receive training and socialization. Through daily interaction, our foster parents get to know the individual personalities of each pet, including his/her strengths, abiltiies and preferences. This helps us make the best match between our adoptable pets and their prospective new families.

This is a fun place to shop for cool pet toys, bedding and treats! They have everything from pre-packaged everyday supplies to gourmet treats. I have found the best selection of Halti's and other training equipment at this store, along with friendly staff who will help fit your dog to the right sizes. Ths store also has animal adoptions through the Noah's Ark Animal Rescue on weekends.

I started this non-profit animal rescue (501(c)(3)) in March of 2004 after working with several rescue/adoption groups over the last few years and being told that I could not pick up dogs off the street or that there were certain breeds that I could not rescue from the Animal Care and Control Center (The Pound) because of their breed. If an animal is on the street, it needs help now! Furthermore, I believe that all animals deserve a life and a good home regardless of breed. As with some of the other animal rescue groups, we do this out of our homes with our time and money after a regular workday, so donations of food, crates, carriers, money, and above all, volunteers who are willing to foster these homeless children until we can find them new homes are greatly needed. We have a good selection of adoptable family members to choose from. With each one that finds a new family, another finds it's way to my door.
