Pet-a-Paw-looza Was a Doggone Good Time in Baltimore

We didn't get to attend the doggie party, but we found a grrreat video.

We can’t believe we missed the 2012 Pet-a-Paw-looza over the weekend! Hosted by the Timonium Fairgrounds in Baltimore, the seventh annual Pet-a-Paw-looza and Dog-a-Thon encouraged guests to cuddle their cats and get down with their dogs.

Featuring demonstrations, contests, raffles, and many sorts of pet-friendly vendors, the event offered pet families an air-conditioned venue to come and celebrate the joys of animal companions. Guests could even walk a red carpet and get snapped by the pupparazzi for a cute keepsake, and receive a free smooch from a dog at the kissing booth. Proceeds benefited Pets on Wheels, a nonprofit organization that provides pet visits to those who can’t have animals on their own but need a companion every now and then to stave off loneliness. That sounds like a great cause!

We’re sad we couldn’t be there ourselves, but we found these images so we can all pretend that we attended. It looks like it was lots of fun! There’s always next year. You can check out more photos from the event here.

Do you live nearby, and did you get a chance to attend? Do you have photos to share? Let’s see ’em in the comments below!
