Minted’s Custom Silhouette Art Prints Make a Unique Gift for Dog Lovers

Simply upload a pic of a pup, and a Minted designer will create a custom work of art in no time -- and the prices are surprisingly reasonable!

Dog-themed art from the likes of Brian Rubenacker and Ron Schmidt hangs on my walls, as do beautiful portraits of my dogs, Spot and Dolly, by photographer Robyn Arouty. I also recently added two new pieces to my collection with the help of Minted.

The online stationery and art store now offers custom silhouette art prints. I simply uploaded a side-profile pic of each of my dogs, chose from dozens of colors and fonts, and a designer took it from there. Prices vary by size and style, with options as inexpensive as $32 for an unframed 5-by-7 print.

Aren’t they lovely?

This is the proof Mint sent for my approval. Above are the finished pieces, sitting unframed as I wait for the frames I ordered to arrive.

I did each one facing a different direction so my dogs could be looking at each other once I hang the prints.

These custom silhouette art prints would make a thoughtful and unique holiday gift for a dog lover on your holiday shopping list, and you still have time to place an order for delivery by Dec. 24. Deadlines for by-holiday arrival range from Saturday, Dec. 12, through Thursday, Dec. 17, depending on what you choose and how much you want to pay for shipping.

What are you waiting for?!
