Mom and Dad were excited to cool me off with a shave bc I was starting to get too long and it's getting warm out. I'm fe?
The groomers were nice to me -- it's nothing like that. I've lost my appetite and been, well, blah. Now I know that the fur keeps me cool too, but I…

I have a 1-year-old Shichon (Shih Tzu/Bichon). I became ill and, unfortunately, didn't groom my puppy on a daily basis. He seemed to be getting little "knots" of fur very close to the skin. Groomer said because he was a non-shedder, his "baby hair" mixed in with his adult hair and became severely matted. Almost his entire body had to be shaved. After bringing him home, his personality has changed drastically. He doesn't want to go outdoors or interact with others. He spends most of his day curled up on my bed sleeping. He seems jumpy, touchy, apprehensive, and almost appears sick, although I know he's not. Are you familiar with any situation similar to this? How can I get him back to his old happy, fun-loving self? Please tell me he won't stay like this forever! I would appreciate any help you can give! God Bless You?
