Worm meds and throwing up! Please help!

I saw a live worm in my puppy's poo and called the vet. I took her in and they gave me a worm pill. Not me...the pup. This was 3 hours ago and now she is throwing up.....about 7 times! There isn't much left in her to throw up. Did the worm med cause this and was it in her long enough to kill the worms????She is 15 weeks old. Anyone have any experience like this? Thank you!
