Wondering what breed I am ?
Supposed to be a german shepard, heeler, dingo mix. I looks more like a besenji though. I am a rescue puppy and not sure the owner of my mom really knew who my father was. My owner plans to get a DNA test soon. Just wondering what the folks here think I might be? Thanks!

Well, unless you are in Australia (where it is more likely) I'm sure you're not a dingo mix. Or basenji either, unless they are common in your area. I figure most shelter mutt dogs are mixes of breeds common to their area, rare breeds like Basenji are unlikely to be running around siring litters of mutts.
Can't tell exactly how big Mocha is, but I think Heeler and Shepherd are good possibilities, and so are Chihuahua and Pitbull and Husky.
Here is an interesting factoid to keep in mind- where ever dogs are left for many generations to breed without human influence, they converge on a phenotype (appearance) much like Mocha- medium-sized, short coat, tan-colored, standing ears. These are called "pariah dogs" and include both the Basenji and Dingo breeds (as well as Korean Jindos, Carolina Dogs, and the ancestors of the Chihuahua before they were bred small). It's probably what the original dogs looked liked before we developed so many breeds.

The markings on Mocha's head made me think Siberian Husky right away. The very short coat is certainly not Husky. Post more pictures when Mocha is closer to a year old, it will be easier to tell what the mix is by then.
Personality counts!
The breed mix may be more obvious if behaviors that are breed determined are strong.
For example: Sonny acts like a Beagle, nothing like a Golden or any other dog for that matter.
Pepper has traits of Chow, Golden and German Shepherd. Snickers - total mystery no matter what his DNA says.
