will to much glucosomine hurt a dog?If so, what are the symptoms?

My vet told me extra glucosamine is excreted through the urine. As far as I know, there aren't any symptoms on ingesting too much. Of course if your dog ate a whole bottle of supplements I'd be concerned, but a little bit extra won't hurt.
