Will fly eggs in my dog's food hurt him if he eats it?
I put food out for my lab in the morning and sometimes he doesn't eat it until the afternoon. It gets flies on it and I'm worried that they lay eggs in it and then it might hurt him if he eats it. Would it?

Most flies won't lay eggs unless something has bacteria so if his food is wet and is left in the heat all day, it is most likely already spoiled and that CAN cause digestive issues if he eats spoiled food.
I would suggest picking up the food and refrigerating it until his afternoon meal. Would be safer and cleaner all the way around, and probably much tastier for him to eat.
