Why my # months old Lab is throwing up?

About 1 month ago our 3 months old Lab started to throw up. At first it was in the morning after meal, now he does it sometimes after lunch or dinner. He also developed itchy rash on his belly and under arms. I went to see the vet today. He thinks that it is the allergy to food - specificly chicken. So I started to give him food with lamb & rice. Today hhhhhhhhhe is throwing up after every meal. I don't know if it's something serius or may be it,s just because dramatyc change of food.... or side effect of his todays shots (Da2pl+cpv+cv; Rabbies Canine 1 year Booster)??? Please help. I appreciate any advice. Thank you very much! Aga

Try changing his food again. Kali is allergic to several ingredients, so we had to change her food from chicken to beef to lamb to turkey to finally fish and sweet potatoes. She had itching, vomiting and diarrhea. You should look for a food that has less filler and less or no grain with a different protein that he has never had. We figured out that Kali can't have anything with feathers or hooves. Don't buy anything that is advertised on TV. Go to a specialty food supplier. Good Luck!

Make sure you read the entire label of any food you buy. For example. Iams Lamb and Rice contains chicken meal and chicken fat. MANY of the popular grocery store brands will use chicken in ALL their different flavors so read carefully.

He could have a sensitive stomach along with the food allergy. And it could also be the dramatic change of food. Or it can be all 3. Try changing his food to dog food that is specific for sensitive stomachs and gradually change your dog over to this dog food.. Don't do it all at once.
