why mostly the rotties tail are cut

i am planning to adopt a rottwiller,i have seen most of them withb tail cut!
i just wanna know is it necessary to cut their tail?
whats gonna happen if i dont do that?

Rotties do not need their tails cut. They have a long tail if it's not cut.

Its just for the looks and not really necessary they work mostly as guard dogs and a guard dog wagging its tail isnt very intimidating, tail docking and ear cropping is not necessary!

You could find a rottie with an undocked tail if you look.
The docking has nothing to do with tail wagging..ears & tails were cropped/docked to prevent the "bad guy" from grabbing ears or tails in a fight, plus it gives a look of more ferocity.
There are breeders who do not dock any more. Those that do would be unlikely to honor a request for an undocked tail. This is because it needs to be done at a very young age..prior to any temperament tests, or puppy assignments.
