Why is my Dog vomitng?
In the past few months it seems like everytime i allow our boston terrier to sleep in the bed with us (once or twice a month) he will wake up in the middle of the night and get out of bed and throw up. Afterwards hes fine and will keep his kibble down the next day; any ideas on what could be causing this?and if its worth a trip to the vet?

Maybe he gets to warm sleeping with you, or for some reason he gets nervous sleeping with you for some reason. Since this only happens when he sleeps with you, I do not think it is anything to worry about. If he through up all the time then yes go to the vet for a check up. Instead of sleeping with you, maybe you can hold him in your lap before you go to bed so he can have some together time with you.

Maybe sleeping position of the dog or the heat of your bed. Also you could be affecting the dog whilst you sleep (rolling into him e.c.t). But keep monitering what your dog is eating because sometimes dogs eat grass if they feel sick but if they eat too much they are sick hope this helps x

Could it be possible that your dog is vomiting other nights as well but you only notice it when he is in your bed because he wakes you up when he gets up? Dogs will sometimes (unfortunately) eat their vomit so perhaps this is what is happening when you are not around? Our dog has been vomiting every few days since August. Back in August we took her to the vet and as it ends up, there is something wrong with her liver.
