I do not know why anyone would not want to feed your dog good food. It is much better for them and in turn the chances of them being in better health would be worth the cost.

Because good dog food tastes good! And really, some dogs like cheap dog food because of all the added flavorings and whatnot. They don't care about the nutrition or freshness of food. They just like strong-smelling, good-tasting food in general.
