Whining Pitt that we rescued.
Well we rescued Chloe from a homeless family several months back. When we first got her she was aggressive but with some strong leadership she is now not only non aggressive but a big baby just like our other 4 dogs and fits great into the pack. The only issue we have is her whining. We were told she likes being outside being that was what she was familiar with, being homeless, but if we take her outside she whines. If we have her inside she whines, she'll whine when she needs to go out and when she doesn't need to go out. She whines when roaming the house and in her crate. We've tried ignoring her, firmly telling her no or "sh", and even spraying her with water. Nothing has worked. We tried to make her comfortable giving her plenty of outdoor time (she and the other three are all indoor doggies) She shouldn't be lonely with the other three and I'm a stay at home wife so I'm almost ALWAYS here. I just am at a loss, any ideas? Thanks!

Without knowing what her "typical" day is like, It sounds like axiety. Active breeds need something to do ... all of the time!
My English Pointer LOVES to be busy. If shes not out in the yard, shes playing in the house. When she is not playing with Neka (my GSD) she is always trying to get me to play. If i'm busy, she lays there, looks up at me and WHINES.
I work from home so to keep it to a minimum, we take 15 min backyard breaks every few hours so she gets a chance to run and burn off some energy. I also do basic training every time we go out. (come, sit, stay, laydown) to keep her mind busy.
