What should I feed my one Year old Dachshund?

Well, I guess I'm curious as to what dry food all of you feed your Dachshunds. I like the ingredients in Wellness Core, but haven't tried it. Does anyone have any experience with this food?

Hello,

My husky has an enzymes deficiency where she does not keep any of the nutrients in the food. We had to put her on a high fatty diet and wellness core was perfect! She loves the food and thrives off of it! She has also maintained a good weight ( 27 pounds).. It is costly, but we love it!!!

Howard

I recommend feeding a high quality, grain free food. I'm not a Wellness Core fan, it's not the best food in the world but it's OK and better than a lot of the low quality brands out there these days.

I recommend feeding Orijen, Solid Gold (Barking At The Moon or Sun Dancer), Timberwolf Organics (Ocean Blue or Wild and Natural), Acana, Primal Pet Foods or Red Dog Blue Kat.

Any of the foods I listed above are the foods that I highly recommend feeding.

SCOUT

I have always fed my Doxie Iams Minichunks or Iams Naturals. He has never had any issues with either of these and I can get it at my local Wal-Mart.
