What is your opinion on his breed?
What breed do you think by dog is? We were first told he was a GSD Boxer mix, but then we came to the conclusion he was a Pit Mix, and THEN we came to the conclusion he was a Rottweiler mix. Now, I'm starting to think he is a Pit Bull mix. Can someone give me there own opinion on what he might be?
I was thinking about a DNA test, but I want to see if I can crack his breed without spending money.
Thanks!

I don't really see pit bull but that is just my opinion, but others might think differently.
The first thing i thought when i saw him was mastiff german shepherd but, i think he would be bigger if he had mastiff in him.
German shepherd boxer seems right. It looks like he has a boxer type face with GSD type coloring, but you never know,he could be some totally different mix.
The DNA test could be fun if you get that done i would love to know the results.
Good luck

I hope I'm not being too much of a "wet blanket", but I think knowing your mixed-breed dog's exact mix is overrated- I did the DNA test for Bruno, and was definitely disappointed- it took all the mystery out of him, (though of course those tests are not entirely reliable anyway.)
And the way genetics work, often a mutt will look NOTHING like either parent- people think traits mix like paint colors, well, they don't. The combination of genes from both parents can combine into entirely unexpected phenotypes. And there's a good chance neither of his parents were purebred anythings either.
that said, I think he has more of Rottweiler look than pitbull look.

He does appear to have Boxer. Is he fixed? I mean, what do you really care??? Is he a good family dog? Is he a pleasure to have as a part of your family? You obviously aren't going to show him - and HOPEFULLY are not going to try to breed him, so your question is mute! Again, why do you care so much? Love him, cherish him, accept him for whatever he is!!!
