Probably normal if he had really hard exercise which caused him to pant a lot... panting can cause the saliva to "foam", which is perfectly normal. It's like mixing it with an egg beater... makes it whipped.

Bella

Yes I think it's perfectly normal. I have an American Pitbull Female a yr. old.
When I take her for 40min. walks her saliva gets like that.

I always treat her with Ice and Water =)

Perfectly normal. Buddy does this after a lot of exercise too.

Someone here said she gives her dog ice when its super hot. I suggest not doing this as it can cause a conditions to bloat. Bloat is a REALLY dangerous condition were the tummy flips and the gases build up.
