WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP MY YORKIE?
EVER SINCE I LEFT MY YORKIE AT THE GROOMER, HE HAS ANXIETY ATTACKS WHEN HE DOESN'T SEE ME OR I HAVE TO LEAVE THE HOUSE.HE USED TO LOVE GOING AWAY WITH ME NOW HE SHAKES LIKE A LEAF!DID I RUIN HIM?WE ARE REALLY ATTACHED TO EACH OTHER, I LOVE HIM DEARLY AND HATE THAT I DID THIS TO HIM.CAN ANYONE HELP?

awwww. so sorry.
I guess you could treat him alot to help him through whatever happened.
I cook chicken breasts and dice them for training.
It is not your fault maybe the groomer was rough with him most of them try to comb through really fast and don't take the time to treat and be careful.
Try another groomer and or go there first and talk to them about your bad experiences with your dog and see if they can let you watch how they groom there.

I would go to another groomer and let them know what happened. Talk to anyone you see with a small dog that is groomed and ask about their groomer...people love to share their experiences. Stop in unexpectedly next time your dog is being groomed. Are they behind closed doors? You might want to just drop off for a bath the first time around and see how that goes. Good Luck......I know it's always hard to leave them anywhere because you just never know. I have changed groomers many times until I found a place I was comfortable with.
