I took Nubbins to the vet today and had his teeth and gums checked out, the vet told me is was very common for little dogs or toy dogs to end up having problems with thier teeth, his gums and teeth had a build up and needed a cleaning, the only bad news is he may have to have a few extracted which is common as well, he will be going in for his cleaning next week and should hopefully be better soon after, the vet recommened continuing the brushing we already do and a good food, which i asked and the vet okayed the food nubbins eats he said it was ok, other than that he is healty!!! Thanks for all your input!!

I, for one, appreciate the feedback from you. We never know what happens to most of the dogs whose questions we try to answer. It's nice to hear back from one!

I have same problem with my little guy. Don't feel bad it is common.
Baxter lost his back molar and now that it is out he is much happier, I have to clean his teeth alot
I am glad he is better. Such a cute name.
