Too distracted to poop outside Answers at Dogster Answers.

We adopted Mindy, a 5yr old golden retriever/collie mix a few days ago. She apparently loves other dogs, and gets so distracted on our walks, she will not poop. We live in an apartment with unfenced yard, so taking her off the leash is not an option. Right now, she just hides in the dining room and goes. She doesn't have any other accidents, so I don't know if she is distracted, or nervous to be seen. Besides taking her outside and standing in the same spot, are there any other ideas? She'd stand outside staring at the sky for an hour if we let her.
