The best crate for an agility dog?

I had asked this question the other day and haven't got much respond, so I'm going to ask it again.

I would like to know whether to use a plastic or wire crate for my dog for her first agility competition.

She's got fairly bad separation anxiety, by turning circles in her crate, barking, and scratching.

I'd think that a plastic crate would keep her calmer, but they are also so bulky. And if I covered up a wire crate, she'd pull in the cover.

So what do you think i should use?

Since you now have 2 different opinions, may i suggest you post this in the Sports/Agility Forum? That way you'll get more responses & can dialogue about the pros & cons of both kinds.
