sugar-free (additives) oatmeal

I love it when my mom has the instant sugar-free maple oatmeal because I always get a little bowl of my own oatmeal. My mom is wondering if the sugar free stuff is bad for me. I hope not, cuz I love having breakfast with mom.

Any kind of sugar substitute is bad for dogs and some can be toxic. So sugar free implies sugar substitute. I wouldn't give your dog any of it.

Yummy..just what a carnivore needs..a bowl of mushy grain loaded with toxins.
Please stop feeding him that..give him a high quality kibble or put him on raw diet. He can have his breakfast & you get yours.

Dogs don't need sugar. If you want to feed your dog oatmeal, feed him plain cooked oatmeal with nothing added.
