Strange behavior after vomitting
My dog vomitted twice yesterday. Once in the morning and once in the evening. It was just food in the vomit. After the second incident, he kept swallowing and sticking his tongue out and back in. When I went to comfort him, I could feel I guess his trachea bulging out. This went on for some time. I took him outside he just ate grass. He drank water after this, he's eaten this morning and tonight. He's had great bowel movements and is acting fairly normal. Seems a little tired. I'm wondering if anyone has ever experienced anything like this. He is five years old, he's a terrier mix about 55 pounds, he's neutered and always has been. Never any health issues. Took him to a new vet, mine retired, he examined him and said he seemed fine, but, suggested blood panels and hundreds of dollars in xrays to be sure. I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced anything like this and just to hear some opinions. I don't have $500 to check it out.

Dogs will lick, swallow and drool when they feel like they need to vomit. I would have the vet run some of the tests if your dog is not better.
