Should we hold our Shepherd's food again after throwing up?

our 3 year old Shepherd, Maya, threw up Saturday night. It was a lot of throw up. We held her food for 24 hours then fed boiled rice and chicken broth Sunday night and until today. At noon today she threw up a very small amount of liquid. She seems fine, poo is fine, playful and happy. Should I hold her food again? Or should we go back to rice/chicken broth? And how do we get her back on her regular food after all this?

I would feed her the rice and chicken for one more day. If she throws up, you need to have a vet check her out. If she doesn't, then you can start adding her regular food in with the chicken & rice a little at a time. Slowly increase the amount over the coarse of about 5 or more days until you have backed off the chicken & rice and have her up to her normal amount of her regular food. If she starts throwing up again, even after you start adding her regular food in, then you really do need to take her to the vet. Good Luck!
