Puppy with a Fever

My new 7 week puppy received his first bath yesterday and today he hasn't eaten or drank any water and has been sleepy all day. He has a fever of 102.3. Is it possible he caught a cold? He has already had his first vaccinations. No diahrea yet. He has been urinating fine and poops look normal. What can I do to help him?? Please help I'm really worried about him.
Thank you!

actually 100 - 102.5 is actually a normal temperature for dogs.

sometimes dogs wont eat or drink. he could just be exhausted or overwhelmed. it could also be that he is homesick. when dogs are stressed, they may become either hyperactive or lethargic.

just try to make him as comfortable as you can. and try to keep it as lo stress as possible (limit the number of new activities/experiences) until he is better.

may just be a reaction to the vaccines as well, they don't absorb totally over night. There can be a delay in reaction in some dogs weeks after injection. But your puppy's temperature is normal, and if urine and feces is normal I wouldn't worry at this point. If he had a cold he would do what you do when you have cold, cough, sneeze and have a runny nose and you would probably hear a change in his breathing or respiration rate if their was congestion in the lungs.

102 for a temp is actually a normal body temperature for a dog. Did he recently get vaccinated? A lot of times puppies have reactions to their vaccines, and they act lethargic, and don't eat or drink a lot. How long has he not had water for? If it is more than a day, take him to your vet for an IV. Puppies that young can easily get dehydrated, so fluids are important. It is not possible for dogs to catch colds. Dogs only get sick from other dogs.
