Puppy not eating =(
so my dachshund gave birth to two puppies about 5 weeks ago. up until last week they were both growing and eating fine, with on puppy being slightly bigger than the other. then, about a week ago I went to check up on them and realized the smaller puppy had diarrhea all over her. I cleaned her and put her back. Since then i noticed the puppy getting less and less responsive. I my suspicion was that she wasn't eating. I put mom in and took out the other puppy, and sure enough the small puppy would not eat! by this point the puppy looked mal-nourished and skinny. I went to my local pet store and bought puppy milk which i have been feeding the puppy, about 2 1/2 table spoons a day. Since i started feeding her 3 days ago she is getting more responsive, but feeding her is a struggle. She is obviously not well fed, but she doesnt seem interested in eating at all. I try and get the puppy to latch on to mom,and still no success. its like she forgot how to eat. Help please!

Have you taken her to a vet yet??? That would be the FIRST place I started. There could be a million different things wrong, some very serious, some not so much and your vet is the one to sort them out and come up with a treatment plan.
This happened to me with my Shar Pei a few years ago, and I started weaning him after puppy milk was doing no good, and once he got the taste for moist food, he started to fatten up.
It sounds to me like your pup is ill. A vet is probably you best bet, just to make sure you know whats wrong with him before you start treating him. Good Luck.
