Our dog hates new dogs in her face.

We just adopted an almost 9 year old Greyhound/German Shepard mix and have no idea of her previous history, we have a 2 year old Shar Pei/Lab mix (also adopted) who she has no aggression towards at all (they play together and are co-dependent on each other), when we are at my Father in laws they have three small dogs who she is fine with as well, but my brother in laws dog who is a blue healer/lab mix and 9 months old will walk by her or will try to sniff her face and she tries to bite him. She also barks very aggressively at other dogs while we are on walks. We've tried socializing her but it doesn't seem to work, is there anything that we can do to help prevent this aggressive behavior? We love her very much and want her to be able to socialize! Please help!
