My male akita puppy is six months and only weighs 38.6 pounds. What would cause him to be so small?
I've been researching and everything I've read says that he should be around 50-60 pounds by now. He is eating anywhere from four-six cups of Taste of the Wild Sierra Mountain Formula a day.

Post this on the health forum on this site. We can answer you back and forth there, but we can't answer more than once here. Is your dog growing and just thin? Have you had him to the vet for this?
