my dogs ears

my dog just started rubbing his ears on the rug i cleaned them out but they still seem to hurt him what can i try now?

Why do these things always happen on the weekend? He needs to get to the vet. I hope Monday will be soon enough.

Our Shar-Pei gets ear infections, even though we clean his ears. But the canal in one ear is small & causes this, so we go to the vet & get antibiotics. They said they can correct this w/ a operation like they put tubes in for his ears to drain better, like they do on small children. They gave us drops to help sooth the inside also. Hope this helps! Also, it might be allergies.

Yea , i would check with the vet first to see what is causing it. If it is an ear infection they can give medicine for this to help. if it is a yeast infection i have heard feeding a lamb and rice formula helps to slow this down. Best of luck to you
