My dog wont quit peeing in the house!!!

i have a 5 1/2 month old Black lab. I've tried crate training him, but it just doesn't work with him. He will just pee in his crate and then lay on it. When outside of the crate, he knows to go to the door when he has to go, but doesn't seem quick enough because on the way to the door he pees as he is walking. And when he does pee inside, it seems like he knows he's not supposed to becuase he slinks off with his tail between his legs. I'm at a loss!

Let him out more often he is still a puppy and puppies don't always have full control of their functions until 8 to 9 months old. Don't always wait for him to ask. He should be taken out after waking, after eating, after playing and if he hasn't done any of those things then every 4 hours until he is consistent in his house breaking. Babies have accidents. Be patient and try to get him on a schedule. If he is in the crate more than 4 hours then have someone else let him out if you can't do it.it's not his fault so don't yell at him.use positive reinforcement and praise. Use command words like go potty to to teach him to go when you want him too. And treat and praise when he does well.

Sounds like he may have a urinary tract infection. Take a urine sample to the vet for testing.
