my dog loves playing with and eating raw potato, I make sure they are not green is this ok

My dogs have eaten raw potatoes before with no problems. You are right to not let them have green ones. Also they can not have ones that have gone to seed and has eyes on them

Mine does this, too. She barks at it, throws it for herself, and eats it when the novelty wears off. She's just fine, but I've never given her more than the small piece that falls off the counter when I'm cooking.

Raw potatoes are safe for dogs. Good that you do not give him the green ones.
