My dog is pooping more often and her stool is runny...
My 3 yr old, 50 lb bulldog had pooped twice today and both times it was all liquid. I asked my mother, who usually is home to let her poop, if this had been happening before. She said no. I wasn't too worried until she just pooped again, because there is a terrible storm going with rain, lightening, and thunder and all that did not deter her tonight. Thinking back, she hasn't consistently eaten all her food daily, some days there is none left over and some there is a quite a bit. I found out my mother was given her a lot of non-natural treats a day. I put a stop to that and figured that was making her not eat her regular food. With this runny stool, I'm scared it may be more serious. We feed her Blue Buffalo, one of the best brands from what I've heard. I would love some input please.

My mom adds a small amount of plain Kefir to my morning meal to help stabelize my tummy. You can find it in the dairy section at the grocery store. You could try it for a few days to see if it firms up your doo.

Runny stool can be a symptom of a lot of different things. It could be that your mom is feeding her something that doesn't agree with her or it could be something that she ate that is plain not good for her. I would definitely have her checked by a vet just in case.

My 3 yr old, 55 lb husky has a pretty sensitive stomach. If she shows signs of distress (for her, grumbly stomach, eating lots of grass, gas, frequent/loose stool),but still eating, drinking, and playing like normal, she gets one Pepcid every 12 hrs. If this goes on for more than a couple of days, we take a trip to the vet, where she prescribes Famotodine (no joke, dog Immodium) and does some tests.
Bland food might help. You'll mix equal parts unseasoned, cooked ground beef and long-grain white rice (not the instant kind). You'll put her on this at first to stabilize her tummy, then gradually mix in her regular dog food until she's back to the kibble.
Best of luck!
