He needs a little tough love. What diet are you supposed to be feeding? Unless you are trying to feed a well-researched and balanced homeprepared diet, find a good kibble and start there. (If you're trying to do homeprepared, that'll work, too.) 1. Put the food down. 2. If after 15 minutes he doesn't eat it, tough noogies for him. 3. Put it away until next meal time. 4. Repeat steps 1 thru 3 as needed. He won't let himself starve, he's simply holding out for something better. If he does go more than a few days without eating, I'd take him to the vet's office to make sure nothing's wrong with him.
