Beneful is, hands down, one of the very worst foods you can feed a dog...Try to find something better at www.dogfoodanalysis.com & see if things don't improve...Otherwise a trip to the vet might be in order.
Good luck!

It's not possible for anyone in an internet forum to offer a diagnoses. You need to seek veterinary care for her, especially if the vomiting continues. Regardless, a better quality diet may help improve and maintain her overall health. www.dogfoodproject.com is a great resource for dog nutrition information, including information about how to read dog food labels.

Mattie

It maybe some other cause such as- did you recently change her dog food or feed her something out of the ordinary. It may not even be the dog food you are feeding; she may have swallowed something that cant be digested. If she has been eating the beneful for a long time and recently started throwing up its probably another cause. So she has been vomiting for more than 2 days take her to the vet if the problem does not clear up. Good luck!

We always recommend veterinary care first.
Have you heard of Nutro? They have a Natural Choice dog food line that has a few formulas that are available and specially formulated for dogs with sensitive stomachs. I would recommend the Venison or Herring meal formula. Nutro believes in putting pets first by using natural ingredients with added vitamins and minerals. Natural foods are healthier, fresher, safer, and tastier! Check out their website for more info or feel free to paw mail me if you have more questions.

Dallas is an Australian Cattle Dog and also had problems when we tried to switch her to Beneful before. She was sick for days with vomiting and diarrhea. We had to take her to the vet for fluids and anti-nausea medication. She recovered but we had to throw away the whole rest of the bag. The bizarre thing is, she had eaten Beneful before and seemed fine, we tried a different kibble and tried to go back to Beneful, gradually of course, but her system wouldn't accept it. We have since decided to try a raw food diet and she has been doing great on it.
First: stop the Beneful. Chicken and rice is what my vet recommended for about a week til' she got sorted out.
If your dog has been throwing up for a couple of days you may need to see the vet for a remedy and possibly some fluids.

I agree with all of the above - best to see the Vet first to make sure there is no underlying cause for the vomiting, once that's determined switch from Beneful. Another great site with up-to-date reviews is www.dogfoodadvisor.com you might want to check out. Good luck!
