Hi,

Take him/her to the vet because it can become a very serious problem

If you had a bad tooth what would you do? Go to the dentist, right? Take your dog to the vet and he will take care of it.

Yes, as others before me have suggested, a visit to the vet is in order. I don't know exactly what you mean by "bad" as far as the tooth goes, but it's obviously not good!!!

Letting a "bad" tooth fester can lead to serious problems, from a tooth infection/abscess to severe damage to the jaw bone.

Have your vet examine it, and he/she can then lend you further advice (let it be a full dental cleaning +/- extraction of the tooth).

Best wishes,
