My chihauhau mix takes trifexis in the 5-10lb range. She now wghs appx 10.5lbs. I'm concernd to give her the hgher dose

My chihauhau mix had seizures when she was a puppy. I'm concerned that the higher dose of trifexis will be too strong for her. She weights appx 10.5 lbs. I was told by a vet. tech that the smaller dose (5-10lbs) would not be effective.
