Josie

Josie bullying Dakota and getting bad reactions from normally friendly dogs.

We have had Josie for a few months now and i have noticed that her manners with other dogs are lacking, especially with Dakota. She tries to get Dakota to play, but her energy makes Dakota nervous, though sometimes Dakota will try to play.It seems like Josie gets frustrated with her.Josie will lay down in front of her and bark or she will paw at her,Dakota responds by snapping at her face and throat but she hasn't landed a bite yet. They are good together on walks. She was raised with two young Labs and an older Border Collie, who she also harassed.

She also gets aggressive reactions from most of the dogs she meets due to her over-excited way of greeting them. She likes to get in their face, sniffing their face and licking their muzzle. Most dogs don't take to kindly to this and respond by snapping at her. These dogs are friends of Dakota and they are normally very dog-friendly and these reactions have been surprising to their owners.

Any advice? Thanks in advance.
