Is there anyway I can get my 4 yaer old Chihuahua to be more affectionate?
She isn't very affectionate except for when we first walk through the door, she snaps, and growls when we try to pet or hold her.

I don't know if this article will help, but thought i would pass it on.
Maybe there is a reason she is afraid. Maybe something hurts her. not sure, just suggesting.
If you pet her, you can treat her as long as she isn't growling or snapping.
