is there any way my 15 week old pit bull, Australian Sheperd, and mut mix could be pregnant?

i have brother and sister 15 week old puppies. (pit bull, Australian Sheperd mut, mix). she is really fat all of the sudden. it seems when he is sniffing her genital area she really snaps at him now.

They can't get pregnant until their first heat, which is between 6 months and 18 months old. They are probably teaching each other boundaries which is very important. Just make sure as they get older that it doesn't get out of hand. If it does, then you need to step in and diffuse any escalation of aggression. Although, they will probably be fine. Good Luck!

If your puppy seems bloated it could be an indication that she has intestinal parasites (worms) and may need to be dewormed. Depending on the area in which you live your dog should have preventative medications for worms every 6-12 months.

If you are worried that your female will be bred by the male puppy consider having her spayed and him neutered, which can be done at 6 months of age (or sooner if done by laser)
