Yes, almonds (and almond milk, almond butter, etc) are safe for most dogs, unless they're allergic. So a little now and then is okay. But large amounts may cause digestive upset (vomiting, gas, diarrhea) because almonds are not very digestible and some dogs can't deal with unfamiliar foods.

Avoid any products that use artificial sweeteners, some are very toxic and dangerous to dogs.

There is a poster in my vets office that has foods to avoid. One of these foods is almonds, you may want to check with your vet before continuing feeding your dog almond milk
