You should be supplementing him with vitamins and minerals. You should post this one the home cooked forum on this site. That way he won't have any deficiencies.

Plain chicken & rice will not give your pup the proper balance of nutrients he needs for optimal health. If you do want to do home cooked food, please do as Kali suggested & post or peruse the Home Cooked Forum on the main page.
