			<p>Howard, this is directly copied from the AKC Siberian Husky breed standard:  &quot;All colors from black to pure white are allowed. A variety of markings on the head is common, including many striking patterns not found in other breeds.&quot;

Just because a color isn't popular or common does not mean it doesn't exist in the breed.  All black IS an accepted color in Siberian Huskies, and there are photos if you care to check them out.  Just google black Siberian Husky.<br /><br />

			<p>There's no such thing as solid black Siberian Husky. The dog you owned must of been mixed because there's no such thing as solid black Siberian Husky. There is a black and white Siberian Husky.
