I assume that you are wondering why your pet is still marking. Neutering is not going to cure this behavior, especially when a pet is neutered at a year or older. If your pet was a dominant dog and marked frequently before then it may help a little but probably won't resolve the marking. If this is a new behavior it could be a symptom of an underlying health condition, in which case you should consult a veterinarian. If you want to stop the behavior you should consult a dog trainer.
