			<p>NO mother should be left in an outdoor pen with puppies!!!  Babies need constant steady temperatures, starting at ninety degrees and dropping down slowly during the first three weeks to about seventy degrees. 
Not only is the male likely to injure/kill the babies, they are also at danger from hawks, owls and other predators if outside. <br /><br />
