I have researched the breed as best I can, and what I've read says they mostly get along with other dogs. They seem like a good breed, although they can sometimes be hard to house train. You should research it farther too. Here's a website that might be helpful.

They have lots of information about different breeds. It also depends how friendly your dog is. Most golde retrievers I've met are very friendly and like other dogs. Watch your dog's behavior; you'll know if you should or should not get another dog. Good luck!
