I got my 6 month old husky puppy from the shelter..they say he is a mix but he looks just like a pure breed husky..how d
He's black, white, and red. He's got one blue eye and one brown eye. He coat is long and gets wavy when he's wet. He's ears are erect.

If you really want to know if he is a purebreed dog. You can buy a test and send it in to be looked at. It cost close to $100 to do the test. But if you really want to know this is one way to fund out

Most shelters say that because they can't guarantee most of their dogs are purebred. Most people don't send their dog to animal control with their pedigree and registration. Usually you can tell when a husky is mixed; he or she will usually pick up some of the markings of another breed. If you're really concerned about it, check out one of those doggie DNA kits!
