I accidentally stepped on my toy poodles paw, and a few hours later I saw her licking it I took a look at the paw and it was a little red around the edges! She is not limping she is walking like normal but I am afraid it is hurting her because she keeps licking it. (see picture on my profile)

My name is CoCo. I know how it feels to have your paws stepped on; My momma does it to mine sometimes and I a bigger doggy then you but I'm sure it must have hurt alot at first and now you just lick it cuz it makes it feel better. Tell your momma that we do that sometimes cuz it's like 'kissing a boo boo' like they do. I hope I helped you & I hope your paw is betta soon.
It wouldn't hurt to take her to the vet so that you can make sure she is ok, no broken bones.
I had to place a small bell on my pup's collar so people would not step on her. She always got under foot somehow. Well, she does:)
