How would dogs react if they were separated every weekend?

My Maltese if a bit aggressive, so we're going to get him a yorkshire terrier to play with. If we do get the yorkshire T., then we might have to separate them on the weekends. We might have to take the Yorkshire T. With me to another house on the weekends. Would this work? Would it be stressful to either of the dogs?

Would this work...No! Is it stressful on the dogs..Yes!
You have an aggressive dog & you think the solution is to get him a live target for his aggression??!! The poor Yorkie! First he gets terrorized all week, then uprooted to a calm place..but wait..only for 2 days, now back to the terror!? How would you feel?
Please do your first dog a favor & hire a certified behaviorist to work with you to solve his aggression issues, then think about adding a playmate.

I'd go along with what Wiley said to the letter !

However, most of the Yorkies I know, don't take a lot of crap from other Dogs. It may be that your Malte would be the one needing the "break".

Well both or the breeds are hyper well mostly the yorkie breed (but i love small dogs i have a toy poodle myself) It would stress both out even the Maltese might be jealous, scared and even just need love. Maybe if you get a good trainer, try watching the dog whisper (that works for me with my toy poodle)look online, or even try training them yourself. I tried getting my toy poodle 2 dogs for him but he still acts the same (he is a good dog) Try these tips
