How to tell if my rescue Pekingese is purebred? Answers at Dogster Answers.

I recently rescued a Pekingese from my vet who refused to put her down when the previous owner wanted it to be done, she is only 11 months old. She left no history no nothing just abandoned the dog there. But out of interest sake... how do I tell if she is pure bred, I do NOT want to contact that woman for it, any other ways to try and tell? Thx

You could have her DNA tested. Probably your vet can assist you in finding a more reputable testing company.
